China Drying Network On the 18th, the first domestic lignite drying water lifting device in China was tested successfully at the Datang Duolun Coal Chemical Project site (where it is located in Xilin Gol League), and the water lifting efficiency reached over 80%. The success of this experiment has filled the gaps in the field in China and opened up a new path for sustainable development in the rational development of lignite in water-scarce areas.
Xilin Gol League is one of the main distribution areas of China's lignite, and is also the raw material coal supply base of Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. Xilinhot-Duolun-Keqi Energy and Chemical Industry Base. The Union has rich brown coal reserves and has good conditions for large-scale industrial development. However, water resources are relatively scarce and large-scale industrial development is constrained.
The reporter learned that since the Datang International Xilinhaote Power Plant project started its preliminary work in 2005, after repeated research and demonstration, the concept of water extraction from coal has been put forward. At the same time, Datang Duolun Coal Chemicals has independent intellectual property rights for non-contact roller drying. Based on the technology, a lignite drying water lifting device was developed. By testing the condensing efficiency of the dryer exhaust under different working conditions, it is confirmed that the water extraction efficiency of the testing device can fully reach 80%.
According to statistics, in 2012, the output of brown coal in China reached 510 million tons. It is expected that by 2015, the output of brown coal in China will reach 890 million tons. After the test of this device is successfully put into production, if all the fuels in the high-water lignite industrial project are used for water extraction, this will greatly ease the contradiction between industrial development and resource conservation, and create positive favorable conditions for sustainable development of the region.
