On February 25, Zoomlion and the German Mercedes-Benz Company signed a strategic agreement in Beijing to purchase 2,500 Mercedes-Benz pump truck chassis again.
Since 2004, Zoomlion has started cooperation with the world's top heavy-duty chassis manufacturer, Germany's Mercedes-Benz. In December 2009, the two parties signed a purchase agreement for 360 Mercedes-Benz Actros chassis with a total value of 300 million yuan. In 2011, Zoomlion ordered hundreds of millions of euros of chassis equipment from Mercedes-Benz and established a regular high-level meeting mechanism. In 2012, Zoomlion decided to purchase 2,500 Mercedes chassis again based on its operating conditions in 2011 and its market forecast for 2012. This is the most significant ordering agreement signed by both parties so far, marking a new stage in friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two parties. At present, Zoomlion has become the world's largest customer of Mercedes-Benz.
