The saved coke oven gas is recycled to the ammonia production system. As a result, the daily production of methanol increased from 320 tons to 360 tons, which also solved the problem of analytical gas emissions. The annual economic benefits can be more than 10 million yuan.
In this way, the tail gas has been used multiple times and has been recycled in order to maximize the benefits of all available resources in the exhaust gas. At present, their methanol and ammonia production costs per ton are only 1350 yuan and 1,500 yuan respectively.
The 100,000-ton/year methanol project completed by Xianyang Petrochemical in July 2008 was originally designed with natural gas as raw material, and was later designed as a dual raw material system for natural gas and analytical gas.
