The Eaton Group of the United States plans to invest US$23.3 million to expand 120 employees at its auto parts plant in Roxboro, North Carolina, to produce valve trains that reduce exhaust emissions.
The new employee's annual salary will reach 36,000 US dollars. In order to attract investment, North Carolina grants 100,000 U.S. dollars to every company that invests in a certain size. When Eaton reaches the corresponding number of enrollments and the amount of investment, it can receive a $100,000 grant.
In addition, if Eaton can achieve its goals within the next decade, it will receive a maximum of $958,000 in tax relief.
The Eaton Roxboro factory was established in 1965. Eaton employs 3,400 people in 12 factories in North Carolina.
