According to the Ministry of Land and Resources of Qinghai Province, in the past 5 years, Qinghai Province has 1,230 geological survey projects, invested 3.416 billion yuan, and discovered 17 new mineral deposits; the newly added resources include 980 million tons of coal and 140 million tons of iron ore. 4.6 million tons of copper, lead and zinc, 164 tons of gold and 1,277 tons of silver provide strong support for economic and social development.
