Japan successfully developed ship energy conservation technology

Nippon Yusen Co., Ltd. and Japan's Tsuneishi Shipbuilding have jointly developed an energy-saving technology called "MT-COWL" to reduce the wind resistance of the ship's superstructure.
Wind tests using the model show that the technology can reduce wind resistance by 10%, which means that if used to a 180,000-ton bulk carrier, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 520 tons per year and provide fuel efficiency.
The energy-saving technology called "MT-COWL" is a beam-wing installation on the front of the ship's bridge, forming a tilting shape and adding corners to reduce wind resistance.
In order to reduce the wind resistance in the residential area of the ship, Nippon Yusen and Tsuneishi Shipbuilding have developed different installation structures. For example, the shape of the tilting side is suitable for a 180,000-ton bulk carrier with an upper structure that is wider than other ship types. The "Cardinal Victory" 180,000-ton bulk carrier delivered by the Japan Post on June 4 this year installed MT-COWL during the sea trial.

Other DFC System

Quartz crucible Acrylic Weld BOPS heat shrinkable film Carbon fiber helmet are special material. Their grinding processing at present are manual, the force imposing on the Grinder is not consistent, most are based on technician experience or technique. Our Force Control System can flexible control the force imposing on the grinder, quick response to the surface changing, and instant adjusting the force on the grinder.
