It was learned from Sinopec Group that the 60,000-ton/year polycarbonate plant jointly invested by Sinopec Mitsubishi Chemical was successfully launched on Yanshan Petrochemical on February 18.
It is reported that the total investment of the project is 2.16 billion yuan, using Mitsubishi Chemical's patented technology, built in Yanshan Petrochemical Plant. The project started construction in May 2010 and was completed in the second half of 2011. Products can be widely used in optical lighting, electronic appliances, machinery and equipment, medical equipment, construction, textiles and daily chemical and other fields, the market prospect is good.
