Beijing rain brought fruits and vegetables prices two days

The newspaper (Reporter Wang Dongliang correspondent Wu Songxu) continued heavy rain in most parts of the country, making the price of fruit and vegetables in Beijing appear to be a “two-fold sky” scene. Some leafy vegetables have reduced by 50%, while pitayas and other fruits have risen by about 20%.

In Xinfadi Market, Beijing’s largest vegetable wholesale market, the reporter learned that leafy vegetables have continued to decline recently, with some varieties falling by more than 50%. After the price of artemisia stalks rose to 7 yuan/kg, it had already dropped to 4 yuan/kg; the price of garland chrysanthemum dropped from 13 yuan/kg at the highest to 5 yuan/kg; the oil and rapeseed and rapeseed from 4.4 yuan/kg respectively. And 4 yuan / kg fell to 2.6 yuan / kg and 1.4 yuan / kg.

Affected by the southern typhoon, the production of dragon fruit has declined, but the demand has continued to increase, so the price has also increased from 45 yuan/box to 55 yuan/box. However, some fruits such as rambutan and longan have also declined in varying degrees.

According to relevant sources, the price of leafy vegetables will remain stable in the coming week, and the price trend of the fruit is not yet clear.
