Qingdao Yongtai assisted Wuzhou 1 bulk carrier successfully launched

On November 24th , Qingdao Yonganshun Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. successfully launched a DWT 36,000-ton bulk carrier for Lianyungang Wuzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry . The cargo ship was built by Zhejiang Hongcheng Shipping Company and named Meishangang No. 57. It has a total length of 190 meters and a width of 28.3 meters. It uses a total of 50 Yongtai high-strength marine airbags.

Lianyungang Wuzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is a fast-growing private ship enterprise with a coastline of 1.1 kilometers, five berths under 20,000 tons, eight 3-5-ton ship platforms, and a 80,000-ton shipyard. A total of 32 units of 200 tons and 100 tons are hoisted, and the shipbuilding capacity of 500,000 light tons per year is available.

In this launch, the irrigation water is in a dry season, and the water level in the lower water is low. In addition, the deep mud at the end of the ship platform is also detrimental to the sewage. After careful calculation, the Yongan Shun team has formulated different launching plans for various water levels to ensure that the launching water is safe. Through consultation with the shipyard, the end of the chute was excavated to remove the mud, which provided a guarantee for the safe and smooth launching. On November 22nd, the Yongan Shun Airbag Launching Engineering Team entered the Wuzhou Shipyard and began preparations for launching water. On the 24th, the hull lifted and the pier was completed. At 5:10 pm, the launching ceremony officially began. After the traction wire rope was cut off, the hull slowly started, and then gradually accelerated into the water, and finally floated smoothly.

The Meishangang No. 57 bulk carrier was the fourth ship launched by the company's airbags this month. The Yonganshun team overcame various difficulties and ensured the smooth completion of each project. In this airbag launch, the company invited two shipyards in South America to conduct technical discussions and discuss the airbag launching technology with customers. After the observation, the customer signed a contract with the company for airbag purchase and technical services.
