Hitachi Shipbuilding receives orders for 30 rice radiation detectors

It is reported that Hitachi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. revealed on the 1st that the company has received orders for about 30 sets of rice radiation detection devices to detect the rice before shipment in Fukushima County without baggage. This is the first time the company has received an order for a radiation detection device.
The orderer is a conference meeting composed of local governments such as Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. After the bag weighing 30 kg passes through the conveyor through the conveyor, the result can be known in about 5 to 10 seconds.
According to Fukushima Prefecture, five companies including Hitachi Shipbuilding and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries received orders for rice testing equipment in 2012, totaling about 190 units.
