Wuhan-made auto parts have been increasingly recognized by the international market. In the first three quarters of this year, the auto parts industry in the city achieved export trade of 11.73 million US dollars, an increase of nearly 40% year-on-year.
This year, the country has identified Wuhan, Shenyang, Shanghai, and Changchun as the first base cities for national auto and auto parts export. Wuhan has continuously introduced a group of world-renowned auto manufacturers and parts and components supporting companies to form a dragon car and Dongfeng Nissan. The three core circles centered on automobiles and Dongfeng Honda Motors have significantly enhanced the overall production level and international competitiveness of the automobile and parts industries in the city.
