If the US International Trade Commission determines in its final ruling that it later is "harmful" to similar products in the United States, it will impose a corresponding anti-dumping duty on Chinese tire imports based on the above-mentioned dumping margin.
Since the United States first imposed anti-dumping duties on Chinese tires in 2009, domestic tire companies, including Guizhou tires, have been subject to anti-dumping duties for many years. At present, the US Department of Commerce is still investigating whether there are dumping and subsidies for the export of passenger cars and light truck tires in China.
