On October 13, the third China-Germany Green Logistics Conference was held in Shenzhen. Feng Zhenglin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Transport of China, and Ms. Dorothy Bell, State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of Germany attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
Feng Zhenglin introduced the relevant policies and measures of the Chinese government, especially the recent positive effects of the national development strategies such as the “Silk Road Economic Belt†and “Yangtze River Economic Belt†on optimizing the allocation of logistics resources, improving the efficiency of logistics organizations, and promoting the adjustment of industrial structure. . He said that it is very promising to promote Sino-German cooperation in green logistics and hope that both parties will continue to strengthen technological exchanges in key areas such as multimodal transport, logistics parks, port logistics, urban logistics, shore power utilization and new energy applications, and promote the development of green logistics between the two countries. .
Bell introduced Germany's policies and measures to promote the development of green logistics. She said that digital development will be the focus of the future development of the German logistics industry, and will also be the main topic of the future green logistics conference. The German side attaches importance to Sino-German cooperation in green logistics and hopes that Chinese and German companies and scientific research institutions will use the green logistics conference platform to strengthen communication and cooperation and solve common problems.
The current session consists of two sub-forums: plenary sessions and "sustainable port development" and "environment-friendly urban distribution." More than 130 representatives from Chinese and German governments, companies and research institutes attended the meeting.
