It is expected to be used in high-end anti-counterfeiting, information security, optical information coding, compact display, and optical storage. And other fields have important applications.
The digital filter's method for filtering the signal is: use a digital computer to process the digital signal, and the processing is to calculate according to the pre-programmed program. The principle of the digital filter is shown in the figure, and its core is the digital signal processor.

An analog-to-digital converter, or A/D converter, or ADC for short, usually refers to an electronic component that converts an analog signal to a digital signal. The usual analog-to-digital converter converts an input voltage signal into an output digital signal. Since the digital signal itself has no practical significance, it only represents a relative size. Therefore, any analog-to-digital converter requires a reference analog quantity as the conversion standard. The most common reference standard is the maximum convertible signal size. The output digital quantity indicates the size of the input signal relative to the reference signal.
The super-surface material is a two-dimensionally distributed array of sub-wavelength structures, which can effectively control the phase, amplitude and light intensity of light waves. The optical response of metasurfaces usually depends on dispersion and polarization, so it is possible to develop information multiplexing systems that utilize wavelength and polarization characteristics. However, most hypersurface multiplexing technologies are only implemented in the spatial domain. This study verified a space-frequency multiplexed silicon-based supersurface chip through experiments. Two completely different holograms were overlapped at high and low spatial frequencies and recorded on the same silicon-based supersurface chip. Holographic pictures can be separated using two digital Gaussian filters. The experiment also verified the space-frequency multiplexing technology through the super-surface nano-imprint, and realized a high-fidelity demultiplexing of a picture superimposed by two pictures.
