430 "Hubei-made" Dongfeng Electric Vehicles began its "Green Olympics" mission at the Beijing Olympic Sports Center and entered the "Bird's Nest" job.
On July 11, 15 hybrid buses and 415 pure electric venues independently developed by Dongfeng Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. were officially delivered to the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games. These vehicles will be operated in the Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, and will be used as the main operating service vehicles for VIPs, athletes, and reporters during the Olympic Games.
The relevant staff of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology introduced that the “Zhejiang-made†Dongfeng Electric Vehicle won the “Admission Ticket for the Olympicsâ€, relying on environmental protection and energy conservation. Among them, the parallel hybrid city bus produced by Dongfeng Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. adopts a 12-meter Dongfeng hybrid-powered electric bus-specific chassis with a rated passenger capacity of 80 passengers. The overall vehicle level is domestically leading, and some key technologies such as multi-energy control are at the leading international level.
