(1) Main features of the wall system mining method

(2) Types of wall mining methods

1 According to the dip angle of coal seam: slow inclined coal seam mining method, inclined coal seam mining method, steep oblique coal seam mining method.

2 According to coal thickness: thin coal seam mining method, medium thick coal seam mining method, thick coal seam mining method.

3 According to the layout of the working face and the direction of the propulsion: the longwall mining method and the inclined longwall coal mining method.

4 According to different working methods of coal mining technology: blasting coal mining method, common mechanized coal mining method, comprehensive mechanized coal mining method.

5 According to different treatment methods of goaf: all fallen coal mining method, coal pillar supporting coal mining method, filling coal mining method.

6 According to the different ways of coal seam mining: the whole layer mining method and the layer mining method.

Applicable conditions: the coal seam dip angle is small, the surrounding rock is stable, the gas emission is low, and there is no natural fire tending thin and medium thick coal seam.
